Since joining the TBIP “family”, the ASSET Program has enjoyed enhanced networking opportunities that we did not have at our previous location. The ability to associate with other companies involved in the aerospace manufacturing business has been outstanding. I particularly enjoy the speakers that are brought in for the networking luncheons. What the TBIP staff provides by bringing speakers from the Oklahoma Delegation and Tinker Air Force Base is an ability to provide direct feedback to the individuals who have an impact on our ability to enhance the Oklahoma aerospace manufacturers. The TPIB’s close proximity to Tinker Air Force Base is a particular advantage for the ASSET Program, as we have been able to invite base personnel to meetings at the TBIP and set up conferences for our champion companies to have easy access to base personnel and base opportunities. This is a lot more convenient than having to get our champion companies on base for similar events.
